iDevAffiliate for Joomla is no longer available for purchase.  We're restructuring the way the Joomla component is going to work and it will soon become an addon to the standard iDevAffiliate product.  This new system will run on the standard iDevAffiliate 5 platform and will be available as a standard add-on component much like the other add-on modules currently available through iDevDirect are.  The Joomla module will consist of many functions only available to Joomla users.
 
When we release the Joomla module, it will be through iDevDirect and it will be available to you in a prepackaged product called iDevAffiliate Joomla Edition or it can be added to any existing installation of iDevAffiliate.  This means you can purchase iDevAffiliate Standard Edition, Gold Edition or Platinum Edition and add the Joomla module when it becomes available.
 
The current standard version of iDevAffiliate integrates with all the products you're using with Joomla.  This includes VirtuMart, aMember Pro, osCommerce, AEC, etc.  Every cart listed in our standard system is compatible plus thousands of others.  The only difference between the old version of iDevAffiliate for Joomla is that it ran inside Joomla as a component and our standard system runs outside the system.  As for features, iDevAffiliate 5 has more features than iDevAffiliate for Joomla ever did because iDevAffiliate for Joomla ran on the iDevAffiliate 4 platform.

If you're looking for affiliate software to work with your Joomla installation, the standard version of iDevAffiliate 5 is a product to consider.  As noted, you will soon be able to use the Joomla add-on module and take advantage of things like having new customers/members automatically being signed up as affiliates.  We have many other ideas for the module and they will all be available to your standard version of iDevAffiliate as they are released.

PLEASE NOTE:
Using the micro integration, you NEED TO make sure you make the settings for "cart integration" in your idev backend as follows:

• Use "manual integration"
• As "Order Amount Variable Name: " use "idev_paypal_1" (if not already preset!)
• As "Order Number Variable Name: " use "idev_paypal_2" (if not already preset!)

ALSO IMPORTANT:

You ABSOLUTELY NEED to upgrade your AEC version to the latest version! This micro-integration will NOT WORK as an micro-integration for any of the AEC versions downloaded BEFORE 2007-08-20!
